Each item has been chosen to ensure that the drivers' efforts to reach the Balaton Lake in Balatonfüred are not delayed by a loose bolt, worn bearing, damaged housing, leaking seal, broken windshield – or any other unexpected incident.

No assistance was allowed during the marathon stage, but the KTM Gauloises team needed some repairs to be done on the gearbox and engine. Luckily, the Loctite® / Teroson specialist was at hand with Loctite® Stick 248 to lock some vital bolts.

Anaerobic Stick: locking of suspensions bolts on leading MAN team truck with Loctite® 248. During the Rally some suspension bolts came loose although they had been tightened at very high strengths > 400 Nm. In Quarzazate the team used Loctite® 248 - successfully, as after 2 special stages the bolts were still in place when the truck arrived in Zouerat.
