Share Program Employees
Since 2001, Henkel is offering its employees an opportunity to acquire Henkel preferred shares. Henkel will top up the employees’ investment (maximum of 4 percent of the remuneration) with a share bonus. In 2007, this bonus amounted to one third of the employee investment.
By December 31, 2007, a total of 14,100 employees from almost 50 countries together held 3.3 million shares within the ESP (Employee Share Program), or around 1.8 percent of Henkel’s preferred shares.
