MIT has experienced dynamic growth: Since 1998 it has supported 5,875 projects including 4,504 MIT community projects and 1,371 MIT children’s projects. The projects were supported through in-kind, product and financial donations including paid time off from work in total. MIT projects have been launched in 108 countries so far.
MIT projects
The number of supported projects is increasing constantly. More and more employees and pensioners from all over the world apply at Henkel for support of their individual project. 1,371sponsored children’s projects so far show how creative employees and pensioners tackle social problems. MIT children’s projects improved the living conditions of more than 45,000 children so far.
From 1998 to 2006 Henkel has supported 4,504 MIT community projects. In-kind-donations consisted of Henkel products in the business sectors laundry and homecare, cosmetics and toiletries as well as consumer and craftsmen adhesives.
