In February 2004, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) accepted Henkel´s City of Industry site, in California, into the National Environmental Performance Track program. This is an acknowledgement of the site´s continuous improvement in environmental protection and its open dialogue with its neighbors. The City of Industry facility is the third Henkel site to join the EPA´s Performance Track program. The others are Seabrook, New Hampshire “ a charter member since the establishment of the program in 2000 “ and Olean, New York “ a member since February 2002.
