Henkel Romania won the “Golden PR Award for Excellence 2005” in the non-commercial campaigns category for its “Together for a Cleaner Danube Delta” project. The aim of the project is to save the flora and fauna threatened by environmental pollution in the Danube Delta in Romania.

To support the project, the Henkel bought recycling containers for waste and PET bottles, together with special recycling facilities. In addition, a long-term information campaign was started to make people more aware of the need to sort their waste.

The project was launched in 2004 and is part of Henkel´s Corporate Citizenship Program
