Henkel supported Germany´s nationwide “Action Day - Sustainable Washing” on May 10. The annual Action Day is organized by the “Forum Waschen für die Zukunft” [Washing for the Future Forum]. Its patron is the Federal Minister for Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture. Numerous local activities were held on May 10 to raise consumer awareness of sustainable washing. There were also practical laundry tips, as well as information on the subjects of health and hygiene; the costs for domestic households; textile care; and environmental protection.

The head of Henkel´s Laundry and Home Care business sector, asked all employees in Germany to support the nationwide Action Day. His appeal: “Remember: Sustainability means maintaining, and where possible improving, the quality of life for everyone - now and in the future.”
